Cadiz Corporate Solutions has an experienced team to ensure that our clients, who are looking to raise substantial amounts of new capital, have access to the more sophisticated and specialised debt packages that the local / international financing markets provide. We have strong relationships with the key debt and private equity providers which allow us to obtain timely introductions and competitive pricing, whilst maintaining at all times an objective and independent approach.
- Black Economic Empowerment
We act as adviser and capital raiser to a number of listed and unlisted organisations. We advise investors on the deal process from strategy to financial closure, including debt raising. We have been involved in some of the largest and high profile transaction in South Africa and are recognized for our independence, thought leadership and innovation.
- Business Valuations
We provide independent corporate valuations for internal strategic purposes. Cadiz has the necessary expertise to undertake comprehensive valuations using the various valuation methods. In addition Cadiz also uses the consulting services of Professor Carlos Correira, who is recognized as one of the leading experts on company valuations and valuation methodology. Prof. Correia has published articles in the financial press and in research publications and was awarded the Standard Merchant Bank Prize three times (1st or 2nd) for outstanding research published in the SA Journal of Accounting Research.

We use innovative application of equity derivatives as a risk management tool. Cadiz is an acknowledged leader in derivative structuring with a track-record spanning twelve years, combining its core skills in derivatives and quantitative techniques to tailor solutions for clients. Cadiz Corporate Solutions continues to generate an awareness of equity derivatives as a risk management tool in the corporate market. Our model of CCS is based on an innovative and multi-disciplinary approach to corporate structuring, backed by the group's derivative research and execution capabilities.
The rapid growth in BEE transactions over the past few years has led to the use of derivative strategies for the transfer of economic interests to BEE partners, while at the same time encouraging longer-term shareholder relationships and the retention of the BEE shareholding.
Corporate derivative strategies are also widely used in share repurchases, acquisitions, convertible and exchangeable bonds, employee share schemes and investment hedging structures.
