Our Philosophy and Process
We are value investors. This is an investment approach that has
a proven history of generating better returns than the market over
the long term, but also provides a natural way of limiting
potential losses.
We therefore invest in companies that are trading at deep
discounts to their intrinsic value. As such, we look for the
following attributes:
- Low price : book values
- Attractive dividend yields and cash generation
- Robust balance sheets
The heart of our equity investment process is sound, bottom-up
fundamental company research performed by highly qualified and
experienced investment analysts.
As long-term investors, we consider a normal holding period to
be between three and five years.
